To commission a portrait please note these requirements.:

Oil paintings take at least three months for drying. Top-quality materials are used for lasting art. Pricing is personal to your own requirements but as a guideline:-

Paintings in oils start at £500 for head and shoulders. At least one sitting of approximately 2 hours will be required. End price depends on the size of the portrait and whether other items are required to be included.
Sketches in single colour pastel pencil take less time but will require framing with glass (extra) : basic price £250. A sitting is preferred but a suitable photograph may be acceptable.

Live sittings are preferred with photos taken to assist. Portraits can also be created from your photos if live sittings aren’t possible.

Also for consideration: loved pets, family members, or loved landscapes, seascapes, views or particularly events.
