Painted during a “paint-in” with other artists. Showers were forecast so I was prepared or so I thought. I was working with acrylic ink. Easel on a groundsheet and plastic covers including a ‘packamac’ ready and to hand. The sun was shining most of the day until - without warning- the heavens opened and of course, I wasn’t prepared. I panicked throwing the sheet over everything but missed a bit - the painting - however, albeit a bit washed out - as it was acrylic ink, it had already dried in parts. So it was a rescue operation on return to the studio!
